Freshworks suite of products: How to approach for subscription cost optimization
Freshworks itself is not a product and one needs to subscribe to any of their suite of products. One query can be how subscribers approach Freshworks in order to optimize subscription cost. To me, their products overlap. So for instance if I am running a call center, I may need Freshcaller. But does buying Freshcaller subscription means I will be relieved of buying Freshdesk as customer support is even at the heart of call center operations. So Freshcaller will include features of Freshdesk?
It appears indeed buying a Freshcaller subscription will entitle you to their omnichannel customer support features and so need not necessarily buy another Freshdesk subscription for Freshdesk.
Similarly, will I get functionalities of Freshchat within Freshcaller by default as chat is often a way to engage with customers? The answer to this is no, you need to have Pro plan of Freshchat if you are on Pro plan of Freshcaller in order to integrate Freshchat with Freshcaller (Integrating Freshchat with Freshcaller).
For this call center example, you need a separate subscription for Freshmarketer and Freshsales in order to boost marketing and sales capabilities of your business.
